Outfits, Daily Life and Manga

Hello friends, how goes the world? It’s been a pretty full week!

Since I don’t have much to talk about this time around, here’s some updates about my life right about now! (Don’t stop now Clarissa, this is super fascinating! Please do this more often)

Turn the sarcasm dial down a few notches buddy.

Anyway, there was recently a small Japanime inspired festival this week in Florianópolis Brasil, called Yatta Festival. It was a lot of fun!

Here’s a rundown on my look:

You love poorly-lit unplanned photos of looks?
We have SO much in common!

Dress: Antix
Shoes: Melissa
Necklace: Renner
Cat ears and wig: Internet

It was a very typical anime festival with all the stuff you usually find: people selling posters and kick-knacks, videogame stations, cosplayers running to-and-fro, 15-year-olds desperately clutching their “free hugs” signs. You know, the typical.

But one especially great ware that was being sold was traditional Japanese food, like onigiri, sushi, and one of my personal favorites: takoyaki!

There was also a very awesome tiny old asian lady who sat in the corner. She was staring at everybody with the look of somebody who is just So Done with all of this. If she ever spoke, I bet she’d just mutter “white people” and shake her little head. Bless her.

My boyfriend helped out with the RPG tent, him being an avid player (INSERT SHAMELESS PLUG TO HISBLOG –in Portuguese- )

Aren’t we adorable.

Another new development was that I finally started reading Nana last week! And no wonder it’s considered the best shojou manga of all time! (though I’d categorize it as josei with all the sex, alcohol and drama….)

Anywho, I’m half-way through and absolutely sobbing every step of the way! Maybe it’s because Hachi is my unfortunate spirit animal.

Greeeeat.

Either way, I'm reading every chapter very eagirly, and it's been a while since I got into a manga, since my otaku days are long since over.
Have you guys read Nana? What do you guys think?

That’s it for now. I promise to bring in some more interesting content next week, my brain is completely fried for now. See you next time!
